How do I change my external hard drive read only?
I just bought a portable 500GB Seagate yesterday. It is formatted in NTFS. I already put all my media on it from a laptop with XP. I am now trying to organize my music better use iTunes on a desktop Vista. When I went to edit the ID3 tags I found they were grayed out, so I checked the attributes files and saw they were read-only. Every time I uncheck read only and close the window, it always comes back. Tab deeds, it shows everyone all permissions except "CREATOR OWNER" which has special permissions.
