Best External Hard Drive For Imac
Convert Toshiba External Hard Canvio work on a mac ..?
So I had a Gateway laptop and I bought a 1TB Toshiba External Hard Drive Canvio. I saved everything on my laptop on it and still have a lot of memory left. My Gateway has recently Internet got a virus and I went out and got new iMac with 21.5. In the box Canvio says he will need formatting for Mac OS X. .. so I guess its possible to do .. how? If anyone knows how to transfer all my songs / pictures / etc. Access to my Mac, I'd appreciate of this:) reply that helps me get the best answer ….
If you format the disk you will lose everything on it. You must save the files saved to another Windows PC or Linux, format the drive to FAT32, then put the files on the disk back. Linux, Windows and Mac OS can read all disks formatted using FAT32-. Otherwise, you'll have to see if you can find a Mac program can read an NTFS disk.
