Silver Modular

Power Supply Options?
Hi I’m building a new rig an I’m stumped on which PSU to use. On one side is the Corsair 750HX, and on the other is the Seasonic X-650. The Corsair unit has 100 more watts, a Silver efficiency rating, and ~6 more amps on its single 12V rail. The Seasonic X-650 has a Gold efficency rating, costs ~$10 more, runs very quietly and its fully modular. Its pretty slanted towards the 750HX, but I just want to hear other peoples’ opinions.
My Rig:
Phenom II X4 965 (overclocking to ~3.8 Ghz)
Asus M4A89GTD-PRO SATA 3.0 w/ USB 3.0
4 (2x 2GB) G. Skill DDR3 1600 Class 9
XFX Radeon HD 5770 XXX Edition (Crossfire)
2x Seagate 7200 RPM 1TB HDD in Raid 0
Cooler Master Storm Sniper Black Edition
3x 200mm fans, 1x 140 mm fan, 4x 120mm fan
Planning to add a Corsair H50
In all, the cost is around $1,100 – $1,200. I would prefer if the suggested PSUs were the ones listed but other suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
I would probably go with the 750, as you will probably need the power with the dual XFXs (in crossfire). If it is only 1, and you mistakenly put crossfire (crossfire is using more than 1 GPU for 1 monitor), and you don’t plan on using two, get the 650. Check to make sure that they have sufficient power plugs (two XFX require 2×6 plugs, although some crossfire setups need 4×4 pin or 2×4 + 2×6). There are several 1000ish watt power supply from TigerDirect that usually hovers about $100, so you might want to check that out. I’m not sure what your price is, but TigerDirect often has some good deals.
