I have a DishNetwork DVR and I want to record programs on VHS tapes DVR using a Toshiba DVD / VHS Player / Recorder?

I have a Toshiba DVD / VHS player / recorder and I want to record my VHS tapes to watch my DVR Ontón DVR Dish Network. I have only single composite cable (red, white, yellow), and DVR and VCR are on the same channel (3). I'm not sure that the DVR and VCR are connected to each other the right way because when I play a DVR event and try to save it, the DVD recorder only records a white "no Signal "screen. I need to get the VCR to record what the DVR displays. I have the composite cable going to my DVR entry "to the back of the VCR. My TV is working so I can go from TV to AV, with TV being where I can watch my DVR and AV be where I can watch my VCR so I want to be able to record my DVR with my Video Recorder

Your DVR have an RF output jack (coaxial F-connector as an antenna input on your TV)? Mine does, and outputs analog channel 3 or 4, as a simple converter box. You can connect just taken your antenna jack on the VCR, set the VCR permanently to channel 3 (or 4), and logs everything that the DVR sees. Just set your DVR to the desired channel and leave it there, and set up your VCR for the desired time for registration. You can verify that it works by connecting an analog TV to the output of your VCR while it is connected to your DVR as above. The VCR must be turned off (antenna pass through mode). Set the TV channel 3 (or 4), and looking for a picture. If it is on your TV, it will be good in the VCR when it turns on the timer.
