Can I Dual HDMI and component video output of a V / monitor?
My Yamaha Rec A v / a 3 HDMI connections (one output and 2 inputs Montor rec sat and dvd. DVRs therefore need component video. A / V rec will not accept non-HDMI input with HDMI output. So, can I connect DVD and sat rec to rec via HDMI v / HDMI output with at most DVR montitor then connect via component vid an A / V receiver with component video output a v / monitor? This means I can get connections from a dual A / V output to monitor (1 HDMI and 1 component video)? Or I just have to go through all component video devices connected? Thank you in advance for any words of wisdom!
You should be able to do what you suggest (although you'll also need an audio connection to a DVR receiver optical .. would be better). For the TV will be placed between the HDMI input componenet, and even the entrance of the A / V receiver will be lit but other than making sure the settings on the receiver are located immediately it should work fine. If your receiver is like mine, you have to put up one of the inputs (eg "DVR") to treat the component video input port and appropriate audio input. You can also buy a 3×1 HDMI switch with remote for $ 99 Oppo … Happy wiring.
